The Recipe Book is used to store recipes. The space is limited and can be expanded by buying Enchanted Paper.
The Recipe Book is not only used for storing finished potions; it can store any type of recipe. As long as an ingredient is added, the recipe can be logged. This makes it useful for making navigational waypoints for future runs. The option to "Continue brewing from here" will resume the recipe at the point it was saved, allowing extra ingredients or additional effects to be added.
The Recipe Book also allows for customization of the potion's appearance, just as can be done while brewing, but changes to the recipe are only in effect for newly brewed potions from the recipe. There is also a notes section where the player may put the price of a potion, a flavor text description, or notes on when to sell it.
To organize the recipe book you can click on and rearrange the potion tabs. New Recipes fill in blank pages from the top left.
